On Waffles [Oct. 27th, 2008|09:44 pm]
The Collective ADD
Every now and again, I get the sudden urge for waffles. I mean, who doesn't? They're delicious with syrup, have a crispier texture than mere pancakes. Sometimes I even want waffles with whipped cream or something. The only real problem is that like any excessive sweets, waffles tend to make my stomach hurt when I eat a whole one, plus there's the effort involved in making a waffle. I don't really like Eggo, so it has to be at least made with batter in a waffle iron, which I don't have, so I have to either go pay for them, or get a waffle iron, and frankly, it doesn't seem worth it, since they don't really make waffle irons (that I know of) that make waffles small enough that I would be able to comfortably eat the whole thing, and frankly, it's kind of a waste to make a whole waffle and eat 1/4-1/2 of it. But that's not to say that I've given up on waffles entirely, as I still crave them from time to time. It's... a dilemma.

Or maybe I'm just indecisive.

I feel pretty much the same way about french toast. I'm way too lazy to ever make it, but I'll be damned if it ain't some of the bestest stuff to eat for breakfast.

Mmm french toast...

here's the great thing about waffle irons-
you make your waffle whatever size you want.
